The statement is intended to support and guide International Planned Parenthood Federation Member Associations and other Sexual and reproductive health and rights and women’s organizations, including those providing information and services, engaged in advocacy and/or partnering with government and other key stakeholders. It is designed to raise awareness on medical abortion and provide service providers and advocates with information and tools to strengthen the provision of medical abortion services.
